Today's Reading: Psalm 125:1-5
Read the passage and answer these two questions:
My observations from Psalm 121:
Here we see that not only is God the creator of all, He is actively involved in the operation of that creation. He knows and sees all. And He "keeps" His people from all evil (v. 7). That doesn't mean that I won't have problems in my life or that I won't suffer as a result of evil in this world. What it does mean is that God won't allow evil to destroy my relationship with Him or keep me from spending eternity in His presence. Ultimately God's plan for my life cannot be thwarted by anyone or anything. That's a comforting thought whenever I go through hard times.
Read the passage and answer these two questions:
- What doe this passage teach me about God and His attributes?
- How should that understanding about the nature of God impact the way that I live my life?
