Today's Reading: Psalm 52:1-23

My observations from Psalm 50:
Here we see once again that God delights in saving those whose hearts are turned toward Him. He is not impressed with outward acts, liking making sacrifices and offerings, by those whose hearts are bent toward evil.
The practical implication for us is that we need to make sure we never presume on God's forgiveness by intentionally sinning with the idea that God will forgive us. That is not the kind of heart that pleases God at all.
