Today's Reading: Psalm 50:1-23
Read the passage and answer these two questions:
My observations from Psalm 47:
Although it may not seem like it at times, God is the King of this earth. He has complete sovereignty over everything that occurs here. And we know for sure that one day He will reign with complete justice.
But right now, He does not force anyone to submit to that reign. He gives man the volition to chose whether or not to submit their lives to Him. But one day, that is going to change and every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). We get the privilege of doing that right here and know by putting our faith in Jesus alone.
Read the passage and answer these two questions:
- What doe this passage teach me about God and His attributes?
- How should that understanding about the nature of God impact the way that I live my life?
