Today's Reading: Psalm 3:1-8

Read the passage and answer these two questions:

1. What doe this passage teach me about God and His attributes?
2. How should that understanding about the nature of God impact the way that I live my life?

My observations from Psalm 2:
There are two attributes of God that stood out to me in this passage:

• His complete sovereignty. Earthly leaders (and us, too) may make their own plans  but they will never keep God from carrying out His purposes, plans and ways. God actually laughs at those who think they can stand against Him and His Son.
• His wrath. This is a part of God's character that some like to ignore or minimize. But when Jesus returns to this earth, He is coming as a judge and God's wrath is going to be poured out on all who have not put their faith in Jesus.

Implications for my life:

• I don't want anyone to suffer God's wrath so I need to share the gospel every chance I get.
• I can completely trust God regardless of my circumstances because He is in total control.
