This Sunday's message: The Song of Zechariah

December 14

Today’s Reading: Luke 1:69-70; Exodus 15:6-12; Psalm 66:1-7; Hebrews 2:14-18
Zechariah speaks of the horn of salvation in his description of the Lord Jesus. Many people picture Jesus – in the context of the Christmas story – as a baby in a manger. Yes, He did come into this world as baby, we must not forget that He will rise and defeat sin through His life, death, resurrection, and ascension. He will return, yet again, to take up His rightful position as King in His Second Coming. Thus, we can rest assured that even though the world around us is full of evil, the Lord will prevail. We’ve seen Him do it before, and He is faithful to do it again. How do you see Jesus? How can you portray Jesus to others, especially this Christmas season?
