This Sunday's message: The Song of Zechariah

December 10

Today’s Reading: Luke 1:51-52; Psalm 27:7-14; Luke 13:22-30; 1 Peter 5:1-7
One of the most comforting words that I remind myself of frequently is that God is sovereign. God is in charge. God is in control. That’s what our verses remind us of today, that every detail in eternity has been orchestrated by God. I know I can’t speak for everyone when I say this, but that has to be one of the most comforting truths. Knowing that even someone like me cannot get in the way of God’s plan is a great reminder. That overused phrase, “Let go and let God” hold a lot more truth than I used to think. This means we surrender all to Him. The One who holds it all together. Is there something in your life that you can’t give up? Give it to God today.
