Today’s Reading: Luke 1:46-47; Deuteronomy 32:44-47; Psalm 119:33-40; 2 Timothy 3:14-17

This morning, we dive into Mary’s song, the Magnificat. Notice some of the similarities of her song with that of Miriam in Exodus 15 and Hannah in 2 Samuel 2. As we noted a couple of Sunday’s ago, this demonstrates Mary’s knowledge of the scriptures. What this tells us about reading the Scriptures is that we must also take it to heart, knowing and memorizing it, so we can thus turn around and praise God with them. Since God reveals Himself to us through His Word, we can introduce others to Him through His Word as well. Who can you share the Good News with today?
